Capital Conversion
A future measure of how much—or how little—opponent-adjusted performance a program produces from its frozen roster resources.
No live table until evidence is sufficient
Evidence accumulation
The empty table is intentional.
Weeks 1–2 are for evidence accumulation. The first official Live Power ranking will appear no earlier than after Week 3—and only after a human review confirms the inputs are ready.
Transition architecture
Prior meets field evidence.
Preseason weight will decline with qualifying play volume and historical calibration—not an arbitrary weekly countdown.
Future weekly evidence
What will earn weight
Raw box scores are not enough. The weekly system is designed to isolate performance quality, game context and meaningful changes in who is actually playing.
- 01Opponent-adjusted offense and defense
- 02Success rate and explosiveness
- 03Passing and rushing efficiency
- 04Havoc created and allowed
- 05Standard and passing downs
- 06Finishing drives
- 07Special teams
- 08Availability and usage changes
- 09Remaining schedule strength
The denominator stays fixed
Conversion only means something if the baseline cannot move.
If the preseason view changed after every result, resource conversion would collapse into hindsight. The frozen Capital Rank remains the point of comparison for the entire 2026 season.
